A Young Woman Gets Arrested For "Driving While Intoxicated," Talks To The Human Resources Manager, And Gets Inspired To Turn Her Life Around And Recoup Her Self Esteem
Jacquie was known at work as really conservative person who had an excellent attendance record. She in no way went to any of the happy hours after work and it was regarded through the workplace that she was a very religious individual who many times talked about the pitfalls of alcohol dependency and alcohol abuse in the U.S..
Try to think of the surprise inside the department when one Monday morning Jacquie didn't show up for work and nobody had heard from her. In truth, it wasn't until approximately 11:00 in the morning that the human resources department received a phone call about Jacquie from the county jail.
Seemingly, Jacquie went out drinking together with several of her college buddies late Saturday night and at some time around 2:30 early Sunday morning, Jacquie was arrested for "drunk driving." Because her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was extremely elevated, she had to spend one day in the downtown jail.
When Jacquie arrived at work on Tuesday morning, she promptly shared with her boss what had taken place and she asked if she might possibly go and talk with the Human Resources manager about her DWI arrest. The Human Resources director explained to Jacquie that she needs to schedule an appointment with somebody inside the company employee's assistance program to go over any probable drinking problem that she might have. The Human Resources manager also articulated that she really needs to talk about her wish to employ a "drunk driving" attorney to represent her regarding her DWI case.
What is more, the Human Resources director explained to Jacquie that it was a good thing that she would like to employ a "driving under the influence" lawyer because of the difficulties and severe issues that happen to be associated with a "driving while intoxicated" conviction. Just before completing their conversation, the Human Resources director explained to Jacquie that it was quite encouraging that she doesn't seem to have any long term alcohol effects. The Human Resources director claimed that this is relevant because according to some of the most recent alcoholism statistics and facts, the long term effects of alcohol not only impair a person's health, but they can also tear down most, if not all significant relationships the alcohol dependent individual may have.
Jacquie thanked the Human Resources manager for his supportive and encouraging words and then took the elevator to the organization's employee's assistance program go over her DUI arrest, her participation in unhealthy and excessive drinking drinking over the past weekend, and her need to employ a DWI lawyer to represent her "driving while intoxicated" case. After listening to Jacquie's "story", the counselor from the company employee's assistance program explained Jacquie's immediate "game plan" that she needed to address and follow.
First, she would have to take a DUI class to learn more facts and information about "driving under the influence". Second, she would also be required to take an alcohol abuse class to address her possible problem drinking. And lastly, it would be an especially wise thing to do if she were to talk to a DUI Attorney about her DWI arrest.
